Terms
Last updated 19 September 2026
These are the terms for buying a Little Reasons calendar. They’re written to be read. If anything is unclear, email hello@littlereasons.love.
Who we are
Little Reasons is run by Wayne Astridge, trading as Little Reasons, Flat 20, Parkview, 30 Radford Way, Billericay, Essex, CM12 0DY. You can reach us at hello@littlereasons.love.
What you’re buying
A digital advent calendar for one person: twenty-four personal reasons you love them, one behind each door, with your photographs if you add any. From 1 to 24 December, one door opens each morning on their own calendar page, and we email them when it does. The calendar page is the gift; the emails are there to tell them a door is open.
If you buy after 1 December, the doors for days that have already passed open straight away, and the rest open on their days as normal.
How the reasons are written
We write the reasons from what you tell us, using AI. You see them before anyone else does, and you can change any word, swap any photo, ask for a new reason or write your own, up until 28 November. After that the calendar is fixed, so that what opens in December is what you approved. If you haven’t finished by then, we complete it from what you’ve given us.
AI can get details wrong. It only knows what you tell it, so please read every door before 28 November. Once you’ve had the chance to review it, the words in the calendar are yours.
Price and payment
The price is shown before you pay, including any discount code you’ve used. Payment is taken by Stripe when you order. We never see or store your card details.
Cancelling and refunds
Your calendar is personalised and made for you straight away, so once you’ve paid it can’t be cancelled or refunded for a change of mind. Before paying you confirm you understand this, which is what ends the usual 14-day cancellation right for digital content. Your legal rights if something goes wrong on our side are not affected. Refunds sets out exactly what we do when it does.
What you add
By adding words or photographs, you confirm that:
- you’re allowed to use them, and the people in the photos wouldn’t mind being in it;
- the email address you give for the recipient is theirs, and they’d be happy to hear from us on your behalf;
- nothing you add is unlawful, hateful, sexual or meant to hurt anyone.
Everything you add is checked automatically. We can refuse a photo or words that break these rules, and we won’t send a calendar that does. You keep the rights in your words and photos; you let us use them only to make and deliver this calendar.
The person receiving it
They can stop the daily emails at any time with the link in each one. Their calendar page keeps working, and every door still opens on its day. You can change their email address whenever you like from the link in your confirmation email.
How long we keep it
Calendars stay online until 1 October of the following year, so they can be revisited through the year. We email you before one is deleted. Our privacy notice has the details.
If things go wrong
We’ll do our best to keep every door opening on time. If something fails on our side, Refunds explains how we put it right. We’re not responsible for delays or losses we couldn’t reasonably have prevented or foreseen, or for losses to a business. Nothing here limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one on this page when you paid.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your own courts. If you have a problem, please email us first. Most things are sorted quickly.
